Knowhow Nonprofit was originally developed by the Cass Centre for Charity Effectiveness with a grant from The Big Lottery Fund.
The site is now maintained by NCVO staff, with the help of volunteers (who contribute how-tos and case studies). We also commission authors to write and update content for the site.
We want the information on Knowhow Nonprofit to be used widely, so we’ve chosen to make it available under a Creative Commons licence – which is less restrictive than a traditional, ‘all rights reserved’ approach.
Content of this site is licensed under an Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International Licence.
This means you can:
- Use, adapt and re-publish content on this website however you like, as long as you a) credit the source (a link would be nice), and b) make anything you re-publish available on the same terms (that is, a share-alike licence that allows people to further re-use your work)
But you can’t:
- Make commercial use of the content on this site. That means charging for it, or using it any other way that would give you a commercial advantage.
If you’re interested in making commercial use of anything on this site, you’ll need to contact us.
