About the trainer

Dean Russell is the European Social Media Director for LEWIS PR, a leading Global Communications agency. Dean has worked in leading agencies in the digital & communications industry and his clients include the British Heart Foundation, RSPCA and the RNIB.  He has been a judge for the Third Sector Excellence Awards and the British Video Association Awards and contributes regularly to Times Higher Education, Health Service Journal and PRWeek. He also writes a regular column for Third Sector magazine. Dean is a former special advisor for the British Interactive Media Association and an active Volunteer Champion for the Media Trust, the UK's leading communication charity and an FRSA. Outside of work, Dean is also a St Albans District Councillor, where he is the Chair of the St Albans Health & Wellbeing Partnership.  Dean also blogs regularly on his website TheRussellReview.
